The finest finish... Delicate figure and subtle colour variation in the timbers we select require a very fine finish. We apply no less than four (and up to nine!) coats of oil based finishes to provide the best combination of durability and appearance. This technique is carried out entirely by hand and in a manner similar to the way French polishing is done, with consistently stunning results. Minimal regular maintenance is required with the occasional application of beeswax. With just a little care, the appearance of your piece will actually improve with age.
